# Amnezia VPN launches Amnezia Pulse, a public live map of internet shutdowns

*Launch · 1 Nov 2026*

Amnezia VPN has published **Amnezia Pulse**, a public map that tracks internet outages, slowdowns and "whitelist" restrictions as they happen. The tool was announced on 28 October 2026.

Amnezia Pulse began as an internal project that produced the company's monthly digests on Russian internet blocking. According to TechRadar, the map uses anonymised data from Amnezia's VPN servers to flag disruptions by region and provider. It covers mobile and home networks and is updated daily. In Russia it monitors the four largest mobile operators (MTS, MegaFon, Beeline and T2) and the home broadband providers Rostelecom and Dom.ru. Russia is the main focus for now, but the team already sees disruptions in other countries.

Newsweek, cited by TechRadar, reports that Amnezia Pulse logged 80 incidents across 36 Russian regions between 15 September and 20 October 2026, with Krasnodar Krai hit hardest.

For VPN users in restricted countries this matters because blocking and whitelist rules change quickly. Amnezia Pulse gives an independent view of where connections are failing. The map does not change what the service itself does; the provider's own product page is the source for its features and payment options.
