Bewertungen auf Plattformen sind nicht repräsentativ und teils manipuliert; sie gelten nie als Beleg für Fakten. Geschrieben wird vor allem, wenn etwas schiefläuft: Kaum jemand meldet „KYC war einfach und hat sofort geklappt“, aber zehn Nutzer mit Problemen bei der Verifizierung tun es, oft auch, weil ein Schritt übersehen wurde. Deshalb werten wir Kritik nie absolut, sondern nur im Vergleich mit anderen Angeboten derselben Kategorie. In unseren Score fließen nur die Durchschnittsbewertungen von App Store, Google Play und Trustpilot ein, gedämpft und im Vergleich mit der Kategorie. Einzelne Berichte und Beiträge aus Communities zählen nicht, damit sich der Score nicht über gekaufte Bewertungen beeinflussen lässt.
Erfahrungsberichte
Nach fester Regel ausgewählt, nie von Hand: je Plattform höchstens 50 ausführliche Berichte der letzten 12 Monate, die ein konkretes Erlebnis schildern, positiv und negativ im Verhältnis der Sterne der Plattform. Pauschales Lob oder pauschale Kritik ohne Einzelheiten zeigen wir nicht. Kurze Bewertungen zitieren wir ganz, längere gekürzt auf die Stellen mit dem Erlebnis (… markiert Kürzungen); die vollständige Bewertung steht beim Link.

„Feels like scam. Most locations that you choose, like Turkey, Greece, Ireland, Riga, etc. actually connect you for Netherlands despite having fancy country flags. This makes the app useless since you can't really use it to check service availability. False advertising, not recommended. I'm on Premium plan, BTW.“

„Delayed Connections Overall the sale price was much lower than competitors. Achieving a connection takes time. Doesn’t connect automatically without delays. Locked out of sites like YouTube when using the two functioning protocols, OpenVPN and IKEv2, both of which usually interact with most websites consistently. Customer service is responsive. The interface is intuitive.“

„Leider zählt die App das 10GB Freivolumen völlig falsch. Es wird viel zu früh beendet und gefordert, auf die kostenpflichtige Variante umzustellen. Die Einwahl klappt nicht zuverlässig, oft waren mehrere Versuche erforderlich. Hier besteht dringender Handlungsbedarf“
