GnuVPN is a VPN service with its own apps for Windows, macOS, Linux (Ubuntu/Debian), iOS and Android. One account covers up to 5 devices at the same time. Signing up requires only an email address.
Payment: besides Visa/Mastercard and PayPal, GnuVPN accepts Bitcoin, Litecoin, TRON and USDT on the TRC20 network. The 1-year plan costs 42.00 USD, which works out to 3.50 USD per month, the lowest per-month price listed. A free tier exists: accounts are downgraded to the Free Service after a paid subscription is cancelled.
Logging: GnuVPN does not claim a strict no-logs policy. Its privacy policy says: "We collect limited operational information about successful VPN connections, such as the date of connection and selected VPN location, as well as general information about the country or ISP from which a connection was initiated." The policy does not say how long these connection data, account data or payment data are kept. No independent no-logs audit is published, and the servers are not described as RAM-only. App diagnostics are opt-in.
Features: the apps include a kill switch. They are not open source. The server list is shown only inside the app; the website publishes no country list.
Refunds: a full refund is available within a period that depends on the plan length (longer plans get a longer window), with one refund per account. Crypto refunds are paid in the same cryptocurrency, minus commission. Purchases made through Google Play or the App Store are not refunded by GnuVPN.
