ShadowRelay is a small VPN service that accepts Monero (XMR) only: no cards, no PayPal and no third-party crypto checkout. Sign-up is anonymous: instead of a username, email or password, an account is a random token.
Connection: WireGuard is the only protocol. ShadowRelay has no apps of its own; you download WireGuard config files from the panel and use them in third-party WireGuard clients. Exit servers are in the EU and the US. Exits are shared, and dedicated IPs are not offered.
Logging: The FAQ says: "We do not store your token in plaintext, email, real name, or entry IP." and "We do not keep an "activity history" of what you do through the tunnel." Service logs exist and are rotated, but ShadowRelay does not publish how long it keeps connection, account or payment data. ShadowRelay stores payment details (a dedicated Monero subaddress per invoice). No independent no-logs audit has been published, and the servers are not described as RAM-only. A signed warrant canary is published, and the site has an .onion mirror.
Plans: There is no free plan and no free trial. Plans are paid in XMR for fixed durations; no yearly plan is offered.
