KeepSolid's own (closed-source) apps run on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, routers and as browser extensions. Protocols are OpenVPN and IKEv2, plus KeepSolid Wise, a proprietary obfuscation extension that the provider recommends for restricted networks such as China. A kill switch is built in. P2P is allowed only for legal use and only on selected servers (Canada-Ontario, Romania, France).
Privacy: The FAQ quotes the KeepSolid privacy policy: "KeepSolid does not monitor, store, or log your online activity, including your browsing history, connection times, metadata, downloads, server usage, or data content during your session in the VPN Services." The IP address is removed after the session ends. This claim has not been confirmed by a published independent audit, and no RAM-only server setup is documented.
