NymVPN is the VPN of Nym Technologies. It routes traffic through a decentralised network of independently operated nodes and offers two modes: a WireGuard-based dVPN and the Nym mixnet. The Nym docs list 612 exit gateways.
Price: 7.00 EUR on the monthly plan; the yearly plan costs 42.00 EUR, which works out to 3.50 EUR per month. There is no free plan, but new users get a free trial. Refunds are offered pro rata if you are unsatisfied.
Paying with crypto: Nym accepts Bitcoin (also via Lightning), Ethereum, Tether (USDT on TRON), BNB, ADA, Litecoin, Monero, Zcash and its own $NYM token. Card payments via Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, GNU Taler and cash are also accepted.
Privacy: Sign-up needs no personal data – the account is an anonymous passphrase. On logging, the privacy statement says node operators "must sign a legal agreement obliging them to abstain from gathering logs of user traffic." Billing information and anonymised performance metrics may be stored; app telemetry is off by default (opt-in). Card payment data held by Stripe is kept for years. Cure53 audited the apps, VPN and infrastructure, and the apps are open source (GPL v3). A no-logs claim has not been tested in a public court case, and RAM-only servers are not stated.
