Trust.Zone is a VPN service that accepts Bitcoin at checkout, alongside PayPal, credit cards and several local payment methods. Creating an account requires only an email address.
Prices. The monthly plan costs 8.33 EUR; the regular price of the yearly plan is 99.96 EUR. Paid plans allow unknown simultaneous connections. There is no permanent free plan, but there is a free trial that does not require a credit card. A 10-day money-back guarantee applies to the first paid subscription bought on the website. Refunds for crypto payments use the exchange rate at the time the refund is processed, and network fees are not refunded.
Privacy. The privacy policy says: "Trust.Zone does not monitor users' online activity or create or store VPN or proxy activity logs." Session data needed for authentication is kept only in RAM while a connection is active. The policy does not say how long account login data is retained. The no-logs claim has not been independently audited yet: Trust.Zone has announced an audit, but no report has been published. The servers are not RAM-only and the apps are not open source. Trust.Zone publishes a daily PGP-signed warrant canary and says its apps contain no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Network and features. Trust.Zone lists 172 servers in countries across Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania and Africa. Its own apps are available for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Routers and Linux are supported through manual setup. Supported protocols include WireGuard, OpenVPN and IKEv2. The apps offer a kill switch, split tunnelling ("Smart Tunneling") and port forwarding, and a dedicated static IP is available as a paid add-on. P2P traffic is allowed. Support is handled by ticket, including from inside the app.
